House

| The first time I discovered that I could build a house, I was intrigued. However, after finding that it would cost 300,000 silvers to create one, I was disappointed and put my dreams off for later. I was around level 10 then. After reaching level 85, I had accumulated a small but effective sum of cash amounting to 25 million silvers. Bored with constantly leveling and hunting, I finally decided to build a house for myself. I placed myself in Twin City's Mine Cave with a pickaxe and a twin city scroll on a hotkey. Soon, I had a full bag of iron ores and two euxenite ores. I scrolled back to Twin City and went to exchange my ores into timbers at the market. After mindlessly exchanging my ores into timbers until the craftsman told me I no longer had enough ores to do so, I made an interesting discovery. My euxenite ores had been exchanged! I therefore concluded that any ore could be exchanged into timber. With this news in mind, I spent the next two weeks mining for ores. I took so long because I was pked numerous times while I was afk. The most annoying part was converting the ores into timbers. With a full inventory of ores and a TC scroll, I could make 7 timbers at a time with four remaining ores. The dialogue with the Craftsman takes 3 clicks to complete with the original click on the Craftsman. That's a total of 4 clicks per conversion. Each conversion converts 5 ores into 1 timber, so for a total of 35 ores, I would have to convert 7 times or click 28 times. This is without including the number of clicks to get to the market and from there, to get the Craftsman. I then saved the 4 remaining ores for the next time I had a full inventory. While mining for ores, I unfortunately did not come upon any gems, and to this day, I still have yet to mine a gem. However, I did gain about 5 to 6 mets. As weird as it may seem, I found that the RockMonsters dropped mets and equipments just like any other monster; their rate though is lower. Alas, I got 5 timber vouchers and was rather sick of mining now. I headed to TC to the House Agent with my 5 timber vouchers and 300,000 silvers to get my House Permit. Feeling like a million bucks, I wasted no time getting back to the market to see the House Admin. Alakazam! I had my house! And it looked? well not too great. I didn't like how I only got 3 walls, no door, and only 1 window. My favorite part of the house was by far, the bath. That was really creative, especially how you can even walk into the water. I spent the next ten minutes or so switching from the bath to the bed. I was tired of mining without profit, but after seeing how shabby my house was, I decided to upgrade it. I would also get to purchase another item box too after I upgraded my house. So off I went to the PC mine for copper ores. Luckily the upgrade process was much shorter to complete, but it was much more frustrating. This was before they created the Path Finder for PC, so after every I had a full inventory of copper ores, I had to jump, jump, jump, jump all the way back to PC. Then I had to jump, jump, jump, jump all the way back to the mine. Along the way, I lost some hp from the monsters too; it wasn't much but it added to my frustration. But alas, I amassed 10 Copper vouchers, and spending 500,000 silvers, I upgraded my house at the House Admin. Excited to see my new home, I was again disappointed as I had to wait until after the next maintenance before I could enter my home. Sigh, I went to kill some monsters. Finally, I entered my new home and it was bigger. Nothing had changed except now I had a yard and my item box was now in my yard. NOTHING from my house had changed! I was so angry. All the upgrade did was to give me a yard. But after seeing the layout, I concluded, that Conquer will be having more house upgrades hopefully.
