"Home" in "Conquer"

| Hi, my name is Evan, an ordinary sophomore of a high school. I used to be a person who's afraid to talk in front of other people and communication was one of my biggest obstacles. Gradually I was ignored by everyone else in the school and become very isolated. I didn't know how to communicate with friends (actually I had no friend back then) and nearly had idea of how to start a topic with anyone. My life was bored and tedious and I lived in my whole world through out my childhood. All of those things changed until one day I surprisingly saw a huge logo sign says CONQUER while surfing on the internet. This is such a big word for me that I thought I would never have any contact with it in my life. I knew that I could barely conquer myself and it's impossible for me to conquer the world. Due to curiosity, I right clicked on the logo and logged into the website. No one can believe how much that right click mean to me and how it changed my life tremendously. Through playing conquer, I slowly find my own identity and walked out of the cage that I was once in. Conquer gave me an opportunity to do many things I can not do in real life, such as making friend, joining guild, creating a team, communication with sellers? etc. I could still remember the first time when I joined the guild and corporately work with all the guild members to win the guild war. Those activities changed a once shy and timid boy to a person who I had never dreamed of. In addition, playing conquers assisted me in gaining the courage to communicate with people, making friends and achieving my goals. In conquer, I also met one of the most charming and understanding girl who wishes to assist me and later became my wife. All of those experiences would help me tremendously in my life. Conquer become one of the most important part in my life and it's like a home to me now. Without conquer, I would still be a shy and timid kid who never stood out. |
